European Canned Peach Cobbler

Ingredients

1 can of European canned peaches
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup milk
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
 

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Melt the butter and pour it into a baking dish.
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, 3/4 cup of sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Stir in the milk to create a smooth batter.
Pour the batter over the melted butter in the baking dish.
Spoon the canned peaches, along with their syrup, evenly over the batter.
Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of sugar over the top.
Bake for about 45 minutes or until the cobbler is golden brown and bubbling. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
